Senior Program Manager, Operations – Blue Ash, OH
Create peace of mind by leading cross‑functional teams across Production, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Product Management, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and other functions to deliver key business programs and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Hollow Metal Business Unit Leader and other senior functional leaders to establish and prioritize a portfolio of programs, defining objectives, scope, requirements, dependencies, resources, and success metrics.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams to establish execution strategy, schedule, budget, and resource plans.
- Continuously monitor and drive project activities, risk mitigation, and issue resolution to keep programs on schedule and within budget.
- Escalate issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management as needed; resolve people and team dynamic issues to ensure effective performance.
- Coordinate with other program managers on interdependencies or conflicts with simultaneous projects.
- Sponsor status review meetings and formal project reviews with senior management.
- Mentor and coach other project managers and team members on project management fundamentals.
- Travel up to 40% as needed.
- Demonstrated autonomy leading cross‑functional programs from idea to launch using a structured process.
- Proven problem‑solving skills, techniques, and proficiency leading highly accelerated or complex programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Business acumen and experience evaluating trade‑offs and providing recommendations.
- Tenacity in coordinating various‑sized project teams to achieve program timelines and results.
- Self‑starter with experience leading significant impacts on project execution, processes, and tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including project‑management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, business or engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, leading multi‑functional teams ideally in an operations environment.
- Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma, or other program‑management certifications and/or enterprise excellence preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies a plus.
