A PE-backed, multi-brand residential home services platform is hiring a General Manager for a single, company-owned location in Ohio running HVAC, plumbing, and electrical under one roof. The location has more than 50 years of local operating history and does roughly $22M in revenue today, with a credible, articulated path to $30-40M over the next five years.

This isn't a turnaround story. Plumbing revenue is already up 50% year over year, the broader trade mix is stable through an industry-wide soft patch in HVAC, and the existing team has good bones. What's missing is a General Manager who can build a genuine sales culture and unlock the profit this business isn't yet getting out of itself, that's the single biggest lever on this seat.

You own full P&L for the location across all three trades. You report directly to the platform's operating leader for its company-owned locations nationally. On-site, run with genuine autonomy, more like a franchisee than a corporate outpost.

• Full P&L ownership across a ~60-70 person team: three service managers (one per trade), a sales manager, an install manager, and an office manager
• A genuine sales-driving culture where one doesn't yet exist; the single biggest lever on this business right now
• A revenue mix shift toward two of the three trades, both already growing, while the third stabilises
• A path from a $22M location toward $30-40M over the next five years

This is an established, well-run business, not a turnaround. The location has more than 50 years of name recognition in its market, and a strong operations team already in place.

You get real autonomy here. Leadership runs its company-owned locations like franchises: they want a GM who brings ideas and drives them through, not one who waits to be told what to do.

The upside is tied directly to what you build. A profit-share bonus that can reach up to 2x base salary rewards profit growth directly, not a token annual add-on.

• You've already held a GM seat, or run a P&L of similar scale ($20M+) in a multi-department home services operation. Not stepping up into the title for the first time
• A demonstrated sales-driving leader: you've personally built or coached a service-sales culture, and know how to assess whether to coach up or replace underperforming sales leadership
• Leader-of-leaders experience: you've managed and developed department managers, not just individual technicians or reps
• A trade background in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical is strongly preferred; candidates from adjacent fields (restoration, insurance) with strong business acumen and sales leadership will also be considered
• Based in, or genuinely willing to relocate to, Ohio

• An order-taker who waits to be told what to do rather than bringing ideas and driving them through
• A desk-first manager who doesn't personally drive or coach the sales motion
• Anyone priced materially above the compensation range with no flexibility to make up the difference through the bonus structure

• Base salary $150,000-$200,000, with some flexibility for an exceptional candidate
• Annual profit-share bonus, up to 2x base salary at the top end, tied directly to location profit performance
