• Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve operational issues related to shrink wrap and bundling machinery both in-house and at customer sites.
• Install and start up systems, including integration with other OEM equipment in the field.
• Train personnel in proper setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical modifications, including PLC programming, kit installations, and servo reconfigurations.
• Report on machine and system installations, warranty repairs, performance, issues, and suggestions for product improvements.
• Submit accurate expense and time reports promptly.
• Communicate daily with the service coordinator to ensure all issues are addressed and approved by the customer.

Hourly Rate Range: $30.00-$45.00 per hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting packaging equipment, including extensive Allen-Bradley PLC, servo, and HMI programming.
• Preferred: 2-year degree or certificate in Industrial Automation or Electronics.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Emerson systems, HMIs, and temperature controllers.
• Experience with packaging equipment and conveyor systems is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 90%, including weekends when necessary.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
