Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Inspector role in Cincinnati, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to producing high-quality manufactured products. Key Responsibilities- Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished manufactured products to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality specifications.
- Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformances, and process deviations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Complete inspection reports, first article inspections, and other quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Verify proper labeling, packaging, and product identification prior to shipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection and production area.
- Support internal audits, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Immediately report quality or safety concerns that could impact product integrity or customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or quality-related coursework preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector.
- Two (2) years of experience in the Aerospace industry is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T basics, and manufacturing specifications.
- Hands-on experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and go/no-go gauges.
- Experience with CMM inspection equipment and PC-DMIS software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
