Ink Packager | First Shift | Cincinnati, OH

This position is responsible for packaging inks in various containers. This position is a steppingstone position to the Batch-maker position (chemical mixer/compo under job), so serious candidates will be considered for promotion.

Responsibilities
  • Reads and interprets batch tickets and ensures all work is completed according to customer specifications.
  • Prepares cartridges and containers for use.
  • Fills cartridges and containers with product according to the batch ticket, sometimes using computers and machines.
  • Measures and weighs product to batch ticket specifications.
  • Processes and completes documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets, labeling containers, packaging inks and inspecting customer products per requirements.
  • Meets production schedules and metrics and ensures quality products are produced. Follows all safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
  • Attends all required meetings and, if necessary, training.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is preferred.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision. Must be self-driven.
  • Frequently lift 25-50 pounds. Roll and maneuver drums of product between 500 to 550 pounds.
  • No more than 1-2 job changes in a year’s time; any gaps on resume longer than 2 months need to be explained.
  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift, pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc). Training to operate industrial trucks is provided by the company.
  • Sound judgment to make decisions regarding the sequence of setups, operations and processes within the limitations of standard operating procedures.
  • Must be able to provide proof of GED/High School Diploma.
Schedule

Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm

Pay

$17.50/hr paid weekly
