Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in lathes (Swiss style is strongly preferred) to handle setup, programming, and operation. The role involves working with advanced CNC equipment to produce precision parts in a full-time, first-shift position.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and develop programs for Swiss-type CNC lathes as well as other CNC turning equipment.
  • Perform setup and programming
  • Inspect and document part quality throughout production.
  • Observe machine interfaces and displays to identify any operational issues or errors.
  • Analyze blueprints, technical specifications, and drawings to establish machining requirements, setup steps, parameter adjustments, and operation sequences.
  • Install, position, and fasten tools, fixtures, and raw materials securely on the equipment.
  • Conduct routine machine upkeep, including lubricant changes and additions.
  • Carry out minor maintenance and repairs when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs and quality inspections.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in programming using G-code and M-code on CNC lathes.
  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc or Mitsubishi control systems.
  • Capability to independently set up and manage multiple job runs.
  • Strong mechanical intuition for identifying and resolving equipment problems.
  • Competence in interpreting blueprints and employing precision measurement instruments.
Preferred Requirements
  • Previous hands-on experience in programming, configuring, and running Swiss-style lathes
Compensation/Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $25–$40, depending on experience, with additional quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and quality performance incentives.
