Pay Rate / ShiftPay Rate Is Based On Skill/experience 1st Shift 5:30am - 4pm - Monday through Friday (5/10s)
FunctionPerforms electrical mechanical assembly work with varying degrees of complexity. Assembly procedures may involve cable installation, junction box wire termination, trimming and fitting parts to moderately close tolerances, working with parts or components using various types of power sources which are difficult to handle and other skills which require good dexterity and facility in the use of a variety of hand tools.

- Parts are wired according to specifications and standard shop practices.
- Parts are consistently handled and protected properly and safely.
- Work standards are consistently met and improved.
- Wasted effort and material is constantly sought and eliminated.
- Constantly seeks additional work to ensure high levels of productivity are achieved.
- Duties are constantly performed in a safe manner to ensure compliance with safety specifications.
- Analyzes electrical assembly blueprints and schematics.
- Verifies conformance of parts to stock list, blueprints, and schematics using measuring instruments such as multimeters and calibrators.
- Lays out hole locations; drill and tap holes on parts for assembly.
- Runs cables and wire bundles according to blueprints using standard shop practices.
- Terminates varying sizes of junction boxes using schematics and electrical tools such as wire strippers and crimpers.
- Tests the operation of electrical components using electrical measuring tools.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
- Must be a US citizen.
- An understanding of basic AC and DC circuits.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training in applications of entry level electrical aptitude.
- Experience in heavy electrical assembly function.
- Experience in several electrical measuring tools such as multi-meters and calibrators.
- Skills in troubleshooting of DC and AC electrical circuits.
- Develops close working relationship with other assemblers, material handlers, and quality control personnel.
