Project Coordinator – Prototyping & Production Support

Location: Cincinnnati, OH

Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–4PM

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the production and prototyping process by preparing raw materials, coordinating workflow, and ensuring high‑quality execution of assigned projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand‑assembly capabilities, and the ability to manage timing, quality, and communication across cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Customer and the Prototyping Production Lead (PPL) to ensure job readiness, including tooling setup, equipment audits, template application, and workstation preparation.
  • Manage daily workflow, personnel assignments, material distribution, and production throughput to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Support training activities, validation preparation, and submission of daily production reporting.
  • Prepare, measure, and manually cut raw materials with precise dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform high‑precision hand assembly, sequential layering, trimming, and modification of prototype components and products.
  • Disassemble or modify pre‑made products and reassemble them using new materials while maintaining tight specifications.
  • Operate equipment as needed, including initiating machine cycles, monitoring parameters such as pressure, temperature, stroke length, and time, and inspecting output for accuracy.
  • Conduct manual inspection, sorting, counting, packaging, and labeling of prototype products.
Qualifications
  • Strong hand‑assembly skills and comfort working with small components, cutting tools, and detailed processes.
  • Ability to follow exact measurements, specifications, and sequential workflow steps.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and monitor production equipment.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and excellent time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leads, technicians, and cross‑functional partners in a fast‑moving production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
