Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CMM Operator role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision‑machined parts and components.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate dimensional inspection.
- Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections to verify product conformance to customer and company standards.
- Develop and edit CMM programs using applicable software.
- Maintain calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment and related inspection tools.
- Document inspection results and generate detailed reports for quality and production teams.
- Identify non‑conforming materials and collaborate with production to support corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve inspection‑related issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating and programming CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience with CMM software (such as PC‑DMIS or similar platforms) preferred.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
