About the Role:
Our growing family of businesses is seeking an experienced machinist ( lathe and/or mill ) who takes pride in the craft and desires to grow their skillset. We aren't just looking for "button pushers"—we want a setup-capable professional who can take a blueprint and a raw block of material and see the job through to completion.
We have opportunities for machinists with a variety of machining experiences. This is a unique opportunity to expand your skillset, master your craft, and gain experience on specialized equipment such as horizontal boring mills ( HBMs ) or vertical turret lathes ( VTLs ). Responsibilities:
Blueprint Mastery: Review job routers and complex drawings to determine optimal machining sequences.
Independent Setups: Perform full machine setups, including tool selection, work holding, and offset adjustments.
Process Optimization: Operate machinery efficiently, setting cuts and programming at the machine to optimize cycle times and precision.
Precision Inspection: Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Shop Stewardship: Operate in a manner consistent with personal and shop safety. Maintain equipment in top order and contribute to a safe, organized workspace.
Requirements:
Experience:
2–5+ years of experience in machining setup and operation.
Technical
Skills:
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T. Ability to select appropriate tooling, work holding solutions, speeds and feeds.
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs and work an 8-hour shift in a production environment.
High School Diploma or GED. Formal vocational training or completed apprenticeship is a plus.

$25.00 – $30.00/hr (Based on experience & skill set).
