We are currently looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the reactive, proactive, and preventative maintenance of a chemical process plant.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Work safely and maintain equipment safety
  • Provide safe work environment by complying with OSHA rules and regulations
  • Support manufacturing
  • Avoid Down Time
  • Keep equipment running efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems to keep plant operational and minimize downtime
  • Repair mechanical and electrical equipment as required
  • Utilize alternative repairs if repairs or replacement of specific piece of equipment cannot be accomplished directly
  • Perform preventative maintenance in a timely manner
  • Execute improvements in facility, occasionally as part of capital projects
  • Organize and Maintain tools, parts, and equipment
Quality Critical Responsibilities:
  • Perform Baerlocher Preventative Maintenance Program's checks and lubrication in a timely manner
  • Validate capability of equipment modifications in delivering products to specification
Key Skills Required:
  • Strong Electrical troubleshooting and repair background
  • Knowledge of valves and valve repair
  • Basic welding skills
  • Ability to use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Basic pipe fitting, plumbing, and welding skills
  • General knowledge of plant operational automation
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and to be available for weekend shifts and/or call-ins
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose processes and equipment problems
  • Must have ability to read electrical and mechanical prints
  • Must have ability to rebuild mechanical components
  • Must have ability to troubleshoot electric and controls 480V and below
Education/Relevant Industry Experience

Minimum:
  • High School Diploma
  • Five years of experience in the chemical processing industry
  • Strong communication skills
Strongly Desired:
  • Controls experience

  • Shifts is Monday, Tuesday - Thursday, Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM with at least one on-call weekend per month.
