Quality Control Inspector II

CTL Aerospace is a full‑service NADCAP certified composite‑manufacturing company, providing services to major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in manufacturing Fiber‑Reinforced Polymer Structures.

We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to the production schedule.
  • Comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements, and support business goals and objectives.
  • Work cooperatively with others in a teamwork atmosphere.
  • Maintain workstation cleanliness on a daily basis.
  • Read and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions.
  • Utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product.
  • Possess basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing.
  • Have basic understanding of utilizing an ERP system.
  • Generate inspection reports and FAI reports.
  • Multi‑task effectively.
  • Issue nonconforming reports.
  • Work with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people on the floor and work with diverse work groups.
  • Good analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
