Quality Control Inspector II

CTL Aerospace is a full-service NADCAP-certified composite-manufacturing company that has been providing services to major aerospace and government organizations since 1946. We specialize in the manufacturing of Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Structures.

We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

• Perform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production schedule
• Comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements to support business goals and objectives
• Work collaboratively in a teamwork atmosphere
• Maintain work-station cleanliness on a daily basis
• Read and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions
• Utilize basic shop math skills for tolerancing and obtaining product measurements
• Apply basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
• Use an ERP system as needed
• Generate inspection reports and FAI reports
• Multi-task effectively
• Issue nonconforming reports as required
• Work with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in precision manufacturing and inspection (aerospace industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing is a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills for working with diverse teams
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• U.S. citizen
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs
