About CTL AerospaceCTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
EssentialJob Functions
Meets or exceeds all criteria for Quality Control Inspector I
- Perform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) according to production schedule.
- Must comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements and support business goals and objectives.
- Work with others in a teamwork atmosphere.
- Maintains work-station cleanliness on daily basis.
- Experienced reading and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions.
- Can utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T tolerancing.
- Basic understanding of utilizing an ERP system.
- Experience with generating inspection reports and FAI reports.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Basic understanding in issuing Nonconforming Reports.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace Industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus).
- Ability to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups.
- Good analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
