United Direct Solutions is looking for a Digital Print Operator at our Cincinnati, OH facility on 1st Shift and for an overnight shift.

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday
• 12‑hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) or (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
• MTW or TFS: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, or Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $20.00 or more per hour based on experience.

The Digital Print Operator will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of all digital printers.

• Operate all types of digital printers, including continuous feed printers.
• Work with and explain issues to technicians; follow all ISO work instructions.
• Open stock for ongoing print work; maintain inventory of all printer‑room consumables.
• Perform quality control of all printed material; handle, route, and stack as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the print area and log all print jobs in the Digital Print Log.
• Troubleshoot and maintain digital printers, including clearing jams and routine maintenance.
• Operate manual pallet jack; other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of printer experience.
• Mechanical aptitude for clearing jams and routine maintenance.
• Computer aptitude; ability to work in a deadline‑oriented environment.
• Ability to maintain high quality standards under time pressure.
• Familiarity or experience with color management or color match preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Language

Skills:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical

Skills:

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl while monitoring the laser printers. Use hands to grasp or handle documents, boxes, rolls of paper, and other objects; reach with hands and arms. Frequently lift 40–60 lbs and/or push large rolls (up to 1,000 lbs) of paper. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
