Title: Quality Control Lab Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday

This person is responsible for performing routine test procedures and reporting results. They must be able to use a computer for data entry and keep good records. They should be able to work with little supervision, safely and effectively.

• Performs all work in a safe manner, knows and reviews both laboratory and plant safety rules. Adheres to all lab and plant safety rules.
• Maintains work accuracy at a high level to ensure procedures are accurately followed and results properly recorded.
• Ensures that SOPs (in particular tests and specifications), information systems, calibration programs, ISO requirements, and company procedures are adequately implemented and maintained to comply with all company QMS requirements.
• Demonstrates competence with Microsoft Office.
• Uses time wisely to maintain a clean and safe environment while keeping up with normal workflow; meets overtime requirements for the department.
• Works independently with minimal supervisor intervention yet uses good judgment to involve a supervisor when needed.
• Expresses a good attitude by working with others, developing solid team performance, communicating clearly and effectively, and meeting organizational goals.
• Trains new employees in the day-to-day duties as requested.

• 2‑year degree in Engineering or Chemistry (preferred).
• 5 years of prior Lab QC experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong computer, organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.

• SAP Experience is a plus.
• Prefer experience in general color testing and color application testing.
