HP Indigo Digital Press Operator

HP Indigo Digital Press Operator is responsible for overseeing HP press operations, focusing on exceptional workflow optimization and equipment uptime. This role requires a high level of computer aptitude to work with our custom internal software and collaboration with the production team to achieve quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. Experience and certification on HP 6k or 18k presses would be preferred with training opportunities available.

• Operate HP Indigo digital press to produce jobs as scheduled.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot print quality issues, and make necessary adjustments.
• Load and manage media, inks, and other consumables to keep production running smoothly.
• Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure color accuracy, registration, and printing meet company standards.
• Work closely with production and prepress teams to resolve file issues.
• Follow all company safety protocols, housekeeping procedures, and operational guidelines.

HP Indigo Certified Operator is a plus.

• 1-2 years of previous experience operating commercial digital press equipment (UV Inkjet, Toner, etc).
• Strong maintenance and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret press output to achieve quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Above‑average computer and software utilization experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Requires frequent and sometimes extended periods of bending, standing, walking, crouching, and use of hands throughout shift.
• Must be able to push, lift and pull up to 50 lbs.
