We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to fabricate parts and components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in production.

This position is for 2nd shift. Hours are Mon-Thu from 2:30 pm-1 am.

• Operate laser cutting equipment, preferably experience with Cincinnati Incorporated laser equipment or similar.
• Perform all needed setup of equipment and jobs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and instructions.
• Check parts to drawings and specs using tooling and gauges (calipers and micrometers) as needed.
• Perform cutting to specified parameters.
• Log all production activity into computerized production management system (JobBOSS).

• Proficiency in operating lathe machines and press brake machines is preferred.
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for interpreting engineering drawings.
• 2+ years' operating lasers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct all cut quality issues.
• Ability to assist cell leader in quoting new projects.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance for laser equipment.
• Have valid forklift license to assist with material handling.
• Recent job-shop experience.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and work effectively in a team environment.
• Technical training or certification in machining or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a positive “Can-Do” attitude.
