Summary:
- This position supports laser operations by loading sheet metal onto laser machines and organizing finished parts after cutting.
- It involves clear communication with laser operators and the handling, labeling, and sorting of parts for downstream processes.
- Load prepared material onto laser machines per operator instruction.
- Communicate with laser operators to confirm material readiness and requirements.
- Unload finished laser‑cut parts and apply identification labels.
- Sort and organize cut parts for delivery to appropriate shop areas (e.g., brake press, shipping, or secondary operations).
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laser work area.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of shop workflow and material handling practices.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle sheet metal safely.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus.
