4/10, Monday-Thursday 2nd shift (Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days per week)

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

• Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction.
• Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/or special tools.
• Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakes, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training.
• Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled.
• Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs.
• Maintain assembly / quality records paperwork as required.

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Prior J‑STD‑001 experience.
• Prior Manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.

• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience using magnification instruments.
