Role Overview
You will manage the assigned shift packaging operations and personnel. Coordinate production/schedule requirements with the Team Leader, Making. Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, FDA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Meet quality production requirements in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Reporting to the Senior Packaging Manager, you will develop an effective packaging staff and organization, identifying solutions for future production requirements on the assigned shift.
Shift& Hours
2nd shift: 2:00pm - 11:00pm.

- Salary range $70,000 - $80,000

- Insure the safe, efficient and effective utilization of packaging personnel, equipment and financial resources.
- Insure compliance with all FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Assurance Standards.
- Evaluate current operations and provide suggestions for continuous improvement to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate, coach, and mentor assigned shift packaging staff.
- Identify, write and obtain approval for all required departmental Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions. Audit and update current SOPs and WIs as required by Company policy.
- Complete and maintain 100% compliance with all training requirements for the assigned shift packaging team.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
- Engineering or Business Management Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience/training.
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a packaging setting.
- 2+ years in personnel administration.
- 1+ year as Packaging or Project Engineer (preferred).
- Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
- Working knowledge of performance metrics.
- Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- SAP experience.
- Ability to climb, bend and crouch.
- Good teamwork skills, attention to detail, strict adherence to learned procedures, and embrace safety and quality awareness.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or hours.
