Machinist - CNC or Manual; OH, Cincinnati

• Operate machines such as CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and gear cutting machines depending on expertise on specific equipment.
• Set up machine as appropriate to machine specifications.
• Operate machines according to processes provided in the manufacturing of components.
• Use and interpret precision measuring instruments/gauges such as micrometers and calipers.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read orders and work instructions.
• Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings.
• Must have mechanical skills.
• Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment and must be able to bend and lift.
• Walking, standing, lifting, stooping, reaching.
• Physical demand to make setup and perform machining operations.
• May work in tight and/or cramped spaces.
• Some lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassisted.
• Use cranes or other device for heavy lifting.
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.

• 2+ Years of experience in machining.
• Familiar with face milling, reaming, boring, and line boring (specific to Milling).
• Familiar with steady rest and tailstock (specific to Turning).
• Ability to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controls.
• Familiar with G‑Code.
