The role of the Manufacturing Supervisor I has basic knowledge and experience in its field and develops competence by performing structured work. Receives guidance and direction from more senior peers. Lead and facilitate safe operations in line with all safety, regulatory and operational requirements. Assure the delivery of high levels of customer service, ensure quality of product and services, comply with all regulatory requirements, achieve desired financial performance including cost reductions, and build a culture of high performance for the team.

• Safety:
  Create an environment where safety is the number one priority; drive safety improvements and conduct safety gembas routinely. Be present on the floor promoting a culture of zero safety incidents in compliance with all EHS requirements.
• People:
  Deploy team members daily and delegate tasks to meet the production schedule; train team members to required standards; drive engagement with regular 1:1s, conduct performance reviews, and implement survey action plans; approve time and attendance weekly; communicate effectively with the team.
• Operational:
  Coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure smooth shift handover with the next manager.
• Compliance:
  Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies; carry out material checks, line clearance checks and spot checks; manage any compliance issue that arises.
• Performance:
  Manage complete cycle time and seek improvements; manage change‑over time and seek improvements.
• Development:
  Develop direct reports through training and progressive assignments; ensure development actions/plans are in place and provide growth opportunities.
• Self‑development:
  Pursue a growth mindset toward personal development.
• Operation Excellence:
  Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Waste Management:
  Generate and manage non‑hazardous and hazardous waste per internal procedures and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in sciences or engineering.
• Two years manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP.
• Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs required. Familiarity with documentation in a highly regulated environment and good writing skills.
• Experience working in an aseptic production environment desirable.

Pay Range: $75,000–142,500 USD
