Production Associate I is responsible for assembling small to medium size components into quality finished products, per ISO and other regulatory requirements. The position will receive training that includes soldering, epoxy application, laser welding, and good documentation practices. The associate works under the direct supervision of a production supervisor and regular guidance from team leads. The associate is responsible for quality of work and meeting all Quality System requirements for assigned tasks.
EssentialFunctions Of The Position
- Pull components required for orders under guidance of team members.
- Raise issues or concerns with components, processes, documentation, and training when needed.
- Operate equipment and processes per process specifications.
- Accurately document time to appropriate manufacturing orders.
- Follow process specifications and production rules.
- Perform company activities in addition to the above as assigned by production supervisor and/or team leader, Level 2, 3 or 4.
- Perform in‑process inspection per process specifications and inspection documentation.
- Manufacture quality product while maintaining line output and productivity requirements.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of products per process specifications and drawings.
- Read and understand work instructions in the English language.
- Regular and predictable work performance.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work using microscopes and other magnifying aids.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional interactions with team members and employees.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions written in English.
- Previous Medical Device industry experience.
- Assembly Experience and/or experience in Manufacturing.
- Basic technical skills.
- Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills.
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed.
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 50 pounds.
- Ability to use hands to grasp and manipulate small parts in repetitive motion.
- On demand overtime may be required to meet production schedule.
- Pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
