Position: Packaging Supervisor (SACB)

We are currently hiring a Packaging Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH.

Oversees day‑to‑day management of assigned shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient packaging of high‑speed manufacturing production lines such as bottling, canning, and kegs. Responsible for staff supervision, adherence to brewery policies, and weekly process improvement ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate passion and support a high‑performance team environment through motivation and engagement.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence (70%+ time spent on the floor) and exercise employee‑engaging leadership.
  • Direct Packaging Operators to perform required tasks ensuring quality product production through proper sanitation, processing, and packaging procedures.
  • Lead onboarding of hires and participate in operator succession planning.
  • Prepare and deliver employee evaluation process, aligning with performance management program.
  • Conduct pre‑shift meetings daily to communicate safety, quality, brewing, and material concerns.
  • Ensure teams follow processes and continuous improvement projects such as Lean, Kaizen, Centerline, line visualization, and TPM.
  • Supervise and review performance of direct reports, developing staff professionally and technically.
  • Lead, develop, and monitor all critical control points for consistency and quality.
  • Monitor production plans to meet current and future schedules.
  • Identify production‑related issues, including process loss and equipment OEE, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Report, investigate, and ensure accurate communication of incidents and work‑related injuries.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a process engineer role.
  • 2+ years of proven leadership and supervisory skills/experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing/CPG environment or engineering (mechanical or electrical).
  • In‑depth understanding and track record of delivering operational processes that drive safety, quality, and cost improvements.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Process Improvement, and Process Control.
  • All production roles required to pass a pre‑employment physical exam to comply with role requirements.
  • Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes repeatedly.
  • Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing, and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly.
  • Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights or on elevated platforms.
  • Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection, and hard hat).
  • Established dexterity to handle materials, operate equipment, and interface with computer systems precisely.
  • Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may require sitting for a prolonged period and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the beverage industry.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $114,000. This position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles may include a car allowance.
