Production Team Leader – Blue Ash, OH
The Production Team Leader is responsible for the utilization and supervision of employees within assigned work areas. This role involves direct supervision and coordination of the team’s daily tasks on the production floor. The Team Leader assigns tasks, monitors progress, and provides feedback, serving as a link between Supervisors and team members reporting on progress and addressing any issues that may arise during a shift.
By effectively communicating goals and providing clear instructions, the Team Leader ensures that workflow remains consistent and that all products meet established quality standards. Through their oversight and direction, the Production Team Leader directly contributes to the operational success of the facility, impacting productivity, quality control, and team morale.

What You Will Do- Assign daily tasks and set clear objectives for team members at the beginning of each shift to direct production flow
- Monitor production metrics such as output, downtime, and waste, and create reports on team performance.
- Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions and escalate complex technical problems to the maintenance department.
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate production targets, safety alerts, and any changes in procedure.
- Enforce all health and safety regulations on the production floor to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and address any deviations.
- Manage administrative tasks for the team, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, and approving timecards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Operations Management or Engineering preferred
- 2+ years of demonstrated people leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage operations within the manufacturing industry
- Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
