Material Handler, General Labor
Our client, a leading logistics and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving/Material Handler to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving/Material Handlers, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping & Receiving/Material Handlers
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm. 2-2-3 Rotation (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, repeat) This schedule includes working every other weekend.
What's the Job?
- Operate stand-up forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, loading, and shipping merchandise or materials
- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or materials
- Support safety and environmental policies to maintain a secure workplace
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for entire 8-12 hour shift
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
