Employment Type: Full-time | Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $35/hour, depending on experience
Overtime: Eligible for overtime at 1.5x pay for all hours worked over 40 each week.

This role is a hands‑on mechanical Quality Inspector supporting production of high‑precision components in a manufacturing environment. Success in this position depends on accurate dimensional inspection, confident use of precision measurement tools and CMM equipment, and strong blueprint interpretation with correct application of GD&T. You will ensure parts meet specifications at incoming, in‑process, and final stages to support consistent, high‑quality output.
Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections of high‑precision mechanical components to verify conformance to specifications.
- Execute detailed dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools and CMM equipment, ensuring repeatable and accurate results.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to define inspection methods, measurement points, and acceptance criteria.
- Apply GD&T requirements during inspection activities, including correct use of datums, tolerances, and feature control interpretations.
- Document inspection results clearly and accurately to support part acceptance decisions and production traceability.
- Escalate inspection concerns promptly when results indicate potential nonconformance or out‑of‑tolerance conditions.
- 5+ years of hands‑on mechanical quality inspection experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Experience performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections of mechanical components.
- Hands‑on experience using precision measurement tools and CMM equipment to inspect parts.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for inspection purposes.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to verify parts against prints, including correct interpretation of datums and tolerances.
- Experience identifying and documenting nonconformances and deviations from specifications.
- Experience supporting root cause analysis and partnering with engineering and production to resolve tolerance and process capability issues.
