This position is responsible for operating manufacturing and/or packaging pharmaceutical products, including equipment set‑up, operation, clean‑up, and maintenance, in full compliance with cGMP and company policies.
Responsibilities- Learn the manufacturing or packaging process by following approved batch records, work instructions, SOPs, etc.
- Set up, change over, program, and operate various manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Clean facilities, equipment, and utensils per SOP and WI.
- Complete required documentation for manufacturing and packaging of product.
- Maintain 100% compliance with all assigned training and documentation requirements.
- Keep work areas safe and efficient in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and batch record instructions.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Preference for previous experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing manufacturing environment.
- Ability to receive instruction, follow directions, and communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Positive interpersonal interaction with co‑workers and management.
- Compliance with company policies, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
- Operational and troubleshooting skills for manufacturing/packaging equipment.
- Basic problem‑solving skills for routine to semi‑routine tasks.
- Ability to recommend methods and procedures for problem resolution.
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, sitting, climbing, pushing, pulling.
- Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
- Lifting: 25–50 lbs routinely; >50 lbs with assistance.
Activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, extensive reading, visual inspection of small defects or parts, and operation of machines at close range.
