Schedule
Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.
-2:30 p.m.
CLIENT is looking for a skilled 1st shift Milling / Turning Machinist (Manual & CNC) with manual lathe thread cutting experience.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and engineering plans, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Run first‑part proofs and verify settings to ISO/AS 9100 standards.
- Troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and maintain equipment (preventive maintenance, 5S methodologies).
- Perform mechanical assembly/disassembly of complex aerospace tooling to precise specifications.
- Conduct manual grinding and manage thread insert repair/installation.
- Maintain production logs and shift handovers.
- Education:
HS Diploma / GED or equivalent (technical school preferred). - Experience:
Minimum 3 years of combined shop experience in CNC (G&M code programming) and hands‑on manual machining (milling and lathe).
Advanced knowledge of GD&T, proven ability to perform complex machine setups, strong mathematical skills, and excellent communication.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to)$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
