Production Assembler

Assembler Job Description

The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Assembles fabricated metal products, electrical equipment and more according to directions.
• Reads documentation and drawings, then builds to those specifications.
• Uses various equipment and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
• Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; communicates needs to department manager.
• Regular, reliable attendance is required.
• May require periods of overtime or an extended work day.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and job routers.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.

• Ability to properly maintain and perform digital outputs on work tablet.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
• Must wear gloves and ear protection.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and/or airborne particles. Noise level ranges from moderate to high. Employee must follow all safety requirements carefully.

This location of this position is on-site with no ability to work remotely.
