Position: Forklift Production Operator – Chemical Plant (S. Terminal)

Forklift Production Operator

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Production Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Production Operator, you will be part of the production support team within the chemical manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Cincinnati, OH

Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00/hour (flexible based on experience)

Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

  • 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, repeat). This includes working every other weekend.

What's the Job?

  • Operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
  • Move supersacks and bulk materials into warehouse storage after processing.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment including supersack machines, hoppers, and filling systems.
  • Perform washouts, equipment changeovers, and basic maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy, adhering to safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift experience required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and instructions.
  • Basic computer skills required for documentation and inventory tracking.
