ThePosition:
We are looking to fill one 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am) setup/cleaning position.
Responsibilities- Independently monitors, operates, and adjusts various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to procedures.
- Accurately completes all necessary production packaging paperwork.
- Comparing documents to ensure that customer receives accurate inventory of items.
- Responsible for placing rolls in boxes as well as other items such as spacers, insert, and etc. without jeopardizing the machine production.
- Picking up rolls from press as needed to keep the machine production going.
- Troubleshoots minor equipment problems and resolves them with minimal loss of production.
- Must work well with others in a team environment.
- Recording of time and production for job costing.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
- Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Physical demands include standing long periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands.

- Must have ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Must have good judgment of color.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Employees must be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Stand for extended periods, up to eight (8) hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements required by production tasks.
- Regularly lift, carry, and handle materials or equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Use proper lifting techniques and approved mechanical aids or lifting devices when required.
- Occasionally climb step stools or ladders to access work areas or equipment.
- Frequently push or pull materials, carts, or other heavy items.
- Work in environments with elevated noise levels and exposure to oils, lubricants, chemicals, or other production related substances.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times; noncompliance may result in corrective action. Participate in all required safety and compliance training and apply training to daily work practices. Ensure machine guards, sensors, and safety devices are correctly installed and functioning before operating equipment. Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, spills, near misses, or incidents to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard free work area to support safe operations.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times; noncompliance may result in corrective action.
- Participate in all required safety and compliance training and apply training to daily work practices.
- Ensure machine guards, sensors, and safety devices are correctly installed and functioning before operating equipment.
