Overview:
Responsible for identifying the technical and continuous improvement needs of assigned customer and coordination of any technical activities within assigned customer locations across Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. The ideal candidate will be based in Kentucky. This may include coordination of both laboratory and manufacturing activities, and applicable training and development of customer employees. Provides strong press side technical service, troubleshooting of problems and provides detailed and consistent technical reporting.
Supports customer's schedule through production coordination, and at times may need to provide color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at the customer location. Provides performance feedback on ink room personnel and address issues accordingly.

Required
Education And Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 5–10 years of relevant industry experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP. Experience developing and managing project plans using Gantt charts. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Comprehensive knowledge of pressroom operations and printing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in paste ink sheetfed, or flexo Knowledge and application of Kepner-Tregoe problem-solving methodologies.
