Turret Punch Press Operator — 3rd Shift Responsibilities
- Operate CNC-controlled Turret Punch Press equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up punches and dies in turret including alignment and locking procedures
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Verify finished part dimensions and identify defects before next production stage
- Load and position raw material manually, with crane, forklift, or pallet jack
- Maintain part consistency through in-line quality checks
- Adjust tooling and machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances
- Support material movement and workflow within production
- Maintain safe, organized work environment and follow established safety standards
