Neucontrol Engineering designs and fabricates UL508a control panels, either to customer specifications or as custom engineered solutions. Role Description

This is a full-time Electrical Assembler role, based in Cincinnati, OH. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling and wiring electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings, using hand and power tools to mount and install components. The Electrical Assembler will perform mechanical assembly of enclosures and hardware, complete panel wiring and terminations, and carry out soldering tasks where required. The role involves following safety and quality standards, performing inspections and basic tests on completed assemblies, documenting work, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to resolve assembly issues.

The Electrical Assembler is expected to maintain an organized workspace, manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, and support continuous improvement in assembly processes.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in panel wiring and electrical terminations, with the ability to read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands‑on experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for electrical and mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Skills in mechanical assembly, including mounting components, assembling enclosures, and ensuring secure, reliable connections.
  • Understanding of basic electrical safety practices, UL508a standards, and general industrial control panel construction principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality‑focused mindset, and ability to troubleshoot and correct wiring or assembly issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or experience in electrical assembly, industrial controls, or a related field is preferred.
