Machine Operator - 2nd Shift, Cincinnati, OH

Ditsch USA is looking for a Machine Operator to join their Cincinnati team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will help operate production equipment, maintain quality standards, and keep operations running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands‑on work and a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this could be a strong next step. Pay range: $19.40 - $21.44/hour.

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will help keep production running smoothly by operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall workflow. In this role, you will:

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to keep production moving.
  • Manage equipment start‑up, shutdown, sanitation, and daily operations.
  • Inspect product quality (appearance, weight, labeling, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and support basic maintenance.
  • Complete production and quality documentation.
  • Always follow safety and food manufacturing standards.
  • Load and unload materials and maintain proper inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (food production preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math skills and flexibility to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and move throughout your shift for 8+ hours.
  • Ability to work at varying temperatures (freezer to production floor).
