Machine Build Assembler
1st shift, $28-35/hr
REQUIREMENTS- 3+ years in mechanical assembly & fabrication
- Print & schematic reading skills
- Electrical & pneumatic fundamentals
- Build, wire, and assemble custom automated assembly machinery from prints and schematics.
- Interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, and pneumatic schematics.
- Perform mechanical assembly including fabrication, light machining, drilling, fitting, and alignment.
- Install and troubleshoot pneumatic systems and basic electrical components.
- Modify machinery components as needed during builds and testing.
- Provide input on equipment design, safety, and build improvements.
- Own portions of machine builds from sub-assembly through final integration.
- Ensure builds meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and other technicians to resolve design or fit issues.
