Our client, a growing food manufacturing organization, is seeking an Associate Food Technologist to join their Research & Development team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career food science professional looking to gain hands-on experience in product development, commercialization, and plant trials within a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
- Assist with formulation, bench-top sample development, and product testing.
- Participate in customer presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate product and processing data.
- Support production trials, scale-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of food processing, ingredients, and product development principles preferred.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support occasional travel.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
