Manufacturing Chemist I
As a manufacturing chemist, you'll execute chemistry activities for preparation and delivery of clinical candidates. Key responsibilities include following instructions in batch records, cleaning manufacturing equipment according to approved procedures, preparing reagents and buffers for chemical processes, providing routine support and monitoring of automated equipment operations, providing technical support to senior technical staff to manufacture clinical candidates, receiving and checking in raw materials, adhering to all environmental, health & safety policies, documenting work according to good documentation practices, and establishing working relationships with project teams.
Job knowledge required includes an AS or BS degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences or Engineering; or a high school degree and 3 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience. Good familiarity with Word and Excel software is also required. The annualized salary range for this position is $46,700.00 - $54,200.00.
