Cleanroom Electrical Assembler

Join a precision-focused manufacturing team as a Cleanroom Electrical Assembler, where you build and inspect high-quality electrical assemblies in a controlled cleanroom environment. You review work orders and technical documentation, perform detailed assembly and wiring tasks, and ensure all products meet strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Review daily work orders, assembly drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams before starting each task to fully understand requirements and specifications.
  • Gather and organize all tools, materials, and electrical components needed for the day's builds to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assemble electrical parts such as coils, sensors, wiring harnesses, transformers, control units, and circuit board-related components according to documented procedures and drawings.
  • Perform precise soldering, crimping, wire routing, panel wiring, and mechanical fastening using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
  • Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control panel layouts to complete accurate electrical assemblies.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, functionality, and overall quality, verifying compliance with specifications, schematics, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with quality inspectors and engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or wiring issues in a timely manner.
  • Document completed work in production logs or digital systems, ensuring accurate records of builds, inspections, and any rework performed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expectations within the cleanroom environment.
  • Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines to maintain a compliant, hazard-free work environment.
  • Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools safely and correctly, following established procedures.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with soldering, crimping, and the safe use of hand tools in an electrical assembly environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly and soldering work.
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles and components used in assemblies and control panels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a production team.
  • Comfort working with electrical wiring, circuit boards, control panels, and panel wiring in a production setting.
  • Ability to follow environmental, health, safety, and quality procedures consistently.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic assembly and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom practices and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Ability to interpret and work from IPC and other industry standards related to electrical and electronic assembly.
  • Experience documenting work in production logs or digital manufacturing systems.
  • Skill using a variety of hand tools and soldering equipment for electrical and mechanical fastening.
  • Comfort collaborating with quality inspectors and engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining orderly work areas and managing multiple work orders.

Environment

This role is based in a cleanroom manufacturing environment in Fairfield, OH, working on first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You work with electrical and electronic components, circuit boards, control panels, and wiring assemblies, using hand tools, soldering equipment, and other production tools. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to housekeeping and GMP standards, with strict environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines.

The setting is structured and process-driven, with clear documentation and collaboration with quality and engineering teams to ensure a compliant, hazard-free workplace.
