Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.

Role Overview

Supports the Cincinnati 2 machine shop bymaintainingthe continuous flow of materials, work-in-process, and machined parts throughout the manufacturing process. Ensures machinists have the materials and parts they need tomaintainproduction flow and moves completed parts through required downstream processes, including deburring, dewaxing, and Shipping and Receiving when applicable. Contributes to a safe, organized, and efficient machine shop environment.

What You’ll Do...
  • Follow manufacturing procedures, travelers, and work instructions
  • Deliver raw materials, components, and work-in-process to machinists as needed
  • Monitor material and part flow throughout the machine shop to help prevent production delays
  • Collect completed parts from machinists and move them to the appropriate next process
  • Transport parts to deburring and dewaxing operations when applicable
  • Move processed parts todesignatedstaging areas and ultimately to Shipping and Receiving
  • Properly identify, stage, and organize materials and work-in-process tomaintainproduct traceability
  • Verify materials and parts are moved to the correct location and correspond to the appropriate jobor work order
  • Handle and transport machined parts carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, staging, and movement of materials throughout Cincinnati 2
  • Accurately complete required material movement, production, and inventory transactions
  • Communicate material shortages, misplaced parts, damaged product, or other issues that couldimpactproduction
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accessible material staging areas using 5S principles
  • Safelyoperatematerial-handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts as authorized
  • Support machinists and production personnel in meeting team production goals whilemaintainingquality standards
  • Follow all safety, quality, security, and material-handling procedures
You have... Education
  • High school diploma or GED required
Experience
  • Typically requires little to no related experience
  • Manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements
