SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
We are looking for an experienced Bindery Operator to join our team. The main responsibility will be setting up, operating, and maintaining our Mueller Martini saddle stitcher. You will also safely run other finishing equipment, such as a guillotine cutter and a buckle folder, when needed. 1st Shift: M-F; 6:00 am-2:30 pm 2nd Shift: M-F; 2:30 pm-11:00 pm 3rd Shift: S-TH;
9:30 pm-6:00 am
- Set up and operate the Mueller Martini saddle stitcher according to job specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to maintain high quality and fix any issues quickly
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on the saddle stitcher.
- Operate the guillotine paper cutter to trim stock accurately.
- Set up and run the buckle folder for various folding jobs.
- Check finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and correct measurements.
- Keep a clean and safe work area.
- Proven experience operating a Mueller Martini saddle stitcher is required.
- Experience with guillotine cutters and buckle folders is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand job tickers and work orders.
