General Shop Help

The Job Center is now hiring 1st shift General Shop Help in Cincinnati area. Compensation/Shift/Benefits offered of General Shop Helper:

• 1st shift: $22.27 per hour
• Mon
  - Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Paid Weekly on Fridays
• Benefits Include:

Responsibilities of General Shop Helper:

• Perform manual material handling and production support across manufacturing and service departments.
• Assist Machine Operators with machine setup and production tasks as directed.
• Handle, transport, and organize raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies, and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks; count, weigh, transport, and store materials in designated areas.
• Load and unload materials from conveyors, racks, containers, and processing equipment.
• Deliver materials and parts to manufacturing departments as needed.
• Clean and prepare materials for production.
• Follow standardized work methods, safety procedures, and department guidelines.

Requirements of General Shop Helper:

• Must be able to walk, push, and pull for the duration of your shift
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs consistently
• Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time
