Pro Ampac, part of Ampac Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in our flexible packaging facility. This role oversees production lines, staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The Production Manager will implement lean and continuous improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs, and drive root-cause problem solving. Responsibilities include coaching and developing supervisors and operators, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, collaborating with maintenance and quality, and supporting new product and technology introductions in an advanced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow across production lines
- Monitor production KPIs and drive corrective actions and root-cause problem solving
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Partner with quality, maintenance, and engineering to optimize equipment performance
- Support introduction of new products, materials, and technologies into production
- Train, coach, and develop supervisors and production team members
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence
