Looking for Assistant Press Operator jobs in Cincinnati where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.
Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations
- Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Assist lead press operators with press setup and production runs
- Load paper, materials, inks, and printing supplies
- Monitor print quality and report defects or production issues
- Clean and maintain presses, rollers, and work areas
- Support production goals by keeping materials organized and available
- Follow all workplace safety and quality standards
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Assistant Press Operator.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
