Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift Weekends

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER - 1st Shift, Weekends - Friday-Sunday, 5am-5pm

• Mold Processing Support:
  Completing the resin fill, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and material movement required to return molds to the loading station
• Work with fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, nuts, helicoils, inserts, and adhesives
• Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies
• Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance
• Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers
• Works within small team/group

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of previous mechanical assembly experience, preferably working with Aerospace products
• Self Starter
• Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision
• Previous machine shop work practices background preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
