Production Manager

Pro Ampac is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily operations in our flexible packaging facility. You will oversee production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. This role drives continuous improvement using lean tools, supports a collaborative, safety-first culture, and partners with maintenance, quality, and engineering to optimize equipment performance. You will monitor KPIs, manage training and performance, ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards, and contribute to innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for global customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant production operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Create and manage production schedules, staffing plans, and workflow prioritization
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction using lean and problem-solving tools
• Monitor and report KPIs, investigating variances and implementing corrective actions
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to maximize equipment uptime
• Coach, train, and evaluate production team members to build skills and engagement
• Support implementation of new products, materials, and processes in the plant
• Maintain high quality standards and collaborate on root cause and corrective actions
• Promote a safety-first, collaborative culture aligned with Pro
