Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes for fabricated and machined components
- Create process routers and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Estimate manufacturing labor, material, and production costs
- Utilize Solid Works and 3D CAD software to support manufacturing processes
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and engineering changes
- Create flat patterns and machine-ready files for lasers, turret punches, and press brakes
- Collaborate with sales, customers, vendors, and production teams to ensure manufacturability
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement engineering solutions
- Support scheduling, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and machining environments
- Proficiency with Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience developing manufacturing processes, routers, and BOMs
- Strong understanding of fabrication equipment such as lasers, press brakes, and turret punches
- Experience estimating manufacturing costs and production times preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred but equivalent experience will be considered
