Converting Operator

Pro Ampac is seeking a Converting Operator to join our flexible packaging team in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor converting equipment to produce high-quality films, pouches, and bags for food, healthcare, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include loading materials, performing changeovers, inspecting product for defects, recording production data, and supporting routine maintenance. You'll work in a safety-first, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, sustainability, and reliable, on-time production for our global customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor converting machines to produce flexible packaging materials
• Set up equipment, load materials, and perform changeovers per production specifications
• Inspect product for quality, dimensions, and defects; perform basic adjustments to maintain standards
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping requirements
• Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately
• Perform routine equipment checks and assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and maintenance to resolve issues and improve throughput
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality requirements including GMPs where applicable
